What TactiPath does

Structured analysis for situations where the outcome depends on how others respond.

TactiPath is a structured thinking tool for experienced decision-makers preparing for high-stakes situations. It applies game theory to the scenarios you describe — mapping players, incentives, and payoffs — and works through the strategic structure with you.

It is not a chatbot and does not generate generic advice. You describe your specific situation: a negotiation you are about to enter, a competitive dynamic you need to navigate, a policy position you want to test before taking it public. TactiPath maps the strategic game inside that situation and helps you think through it rigorously before you are in the room.

How it works

Three steps. The useful output is the assumption that was wrong.

  1. Describe the situation

In plain language. A negotiation, a conflict with multiple parties, a decision where you are uncertain how the other side will behave. No game theory knowledge required.

  2. Map the game

TactiPath identifies the players, their incentives, and the likely payoff structure. It walks through the moves and countermoves, including the ones you have not considered. The useful output is usually not the recommended strategy — it is the assumption that was wrong.

  3. Test your assumptions

Change a player, change an incentive, change how you think the other side will respond. TactiPath shows how the strategic outcome changes — surfacing the range of plausible outcomes and the logic underlying each.

Who it is for

Most useful when the outcome turns on how others act.

  • Senior decision-makers preparing for negotiations, competitive bids, or high-stakes stakeholder situations.
  • Strategy and policy advisors who want a rigorous second opinion before recommending a course of action.
  • Anyone who has been in a room where a decision was made and later thought: we did not think through how the other party was going to respond.
Frequently asked

Common questions.

Do I need to understand game theory?
No. TactiPath introduces the relevant concepts as you work through your scenario. The theory is the engine, not the product.
Is it like ChatGPT?
No. TactiPath is purpose-built for structured strategic analysis, not open-ended conversation. It applies a specific analytical framework to the situation you describe rather than generating general responses.
Is it private?
Scenarios are not stored or used for model training.
Is it free?
TactiPath is currently in early release and free to use. iOS only at this stage. Leave a tip for the development team if it is useful.
